Allen
is once again planning another visit to Lubumbashi in the D.R.C.
The
purpose of this visit is to further train pastors in the amazing
nature of our doctrine as well as to minister to a section of
combined local churches.
The
DRC remains in the top four most dangerous places in the world.
Working conditions and all circumstances there are extremely
difficult but he is doing what God has told him to do.
Pray
for him.
Life
is hard for these people. Through endless wars they have
seen their men buried alive, their women raped and their children
abducted. The
poverty is unbelievable. They have cried many tears.
Allen was humbled to see every eye filled with tears of joy as
this time the love of God embraced them as he ministered to
them. With Gods help their lives will get better.
In
twenty five years of seeing God do amazing things, the "magic"
that Allen saw God work in these peoples lives will remain with
him forever. The
local pastors work under the most difficult conditions so
Churchnet is setting up a base camp in Lubumbashi for
ministers from Molteno to visit and look after these people on a
regular basis.
I
wish you could’ve been there…
I just wish you could’ve been there to see what God did in
the Congo.
Your
faithfulness made it possible for me to introduce the “heart
of the Father” to these people and I feel that you deserve
to know just what I achieved with your help.
The
D.R.C has been hurt by war and its atrocities for 5o years.
God the Father…
I
did not visit as “the great big prophet.” God told me to embrace
them with the same heart that has given 25 years of my life
to my members in the South African churches.
Prior
to this visit they had never experienced the love of God.
Sure they have heard many
preachers, but they have
never known “God the Father.”
The
love of God came on
them on the Saturday morning and the best way to describe it
is that
almost
visibly and tangibly I saw God put a blanket
of love on these people.
These
people have not cried for years. They
are done
with crying. After all, they have seen
their
wives raped, their children stolen by the rebel armies,
their men buried alive. What more do they have
to cry about?
I
saw every eye filled
with tears. This time the tears were
tears of joy as the
love of God physically embraced
them.
I have never seen God
work such “magic” in my
life.
I
could tell you all sorts of things about the Congo and
I soon will.
Bertin
is doing a wonderful job there but he needs a huge
amount of help.
I
was able with your help to leave him with some funds to
carry on for a while.
He
is working under the most difficult circumstances.
We have tens of
thousands of members and hundreds
of
relating pastors but they do not enjoy the same safe form
of covering as we do.
I
intend, with your help to give it to them.
I intend to visit these
people more often, but by road so
I
can reach them all. I also plan to raise up a strong man
to assist me and to give his life to serve these people.
Love/Hate relationship…
I
must mention that I have a love/hate relationship
with the Congo.
I
don’t like having machine guns stuck into my back
or my stomach when I enter
airports or even just walking
in the street.
I
don’t like the corruption in some of the officials
that threaten to put me in jail all for the sake of a bribe.
I
don’t like eating one small miserable meal a day
with the poorest of the poor.
I
don’t like catching African taxis from venue to
venue. Their taxi
drivers make ours look like Mother Teresa.
I
don’t like the
long lonely evenings.
I
do however love the people. The love of God compels
me to go back to give them what we have.
Thank
you so much, I just wish you could have been there to see it.
Love
Allen
