All band members have been playing on and off together in various church and school bands since they were quite young. The band was formed in 2003, with various band members coming and going.

The band officially became “The Descendants Band” in 2004, and by about 2005, all that remained was a core group of 4 members.

Now they are a fulltime professional band who have sacrificed their lives, funded their own instruments and earn very little. This provides a great service to the rest of our group of churches. The Descendants travel South Africa with Allen on outreaches, circuit meetings, conventions and pastor's meetings and still manage to lead their local church in worship most Sundays.

Their purpose together with Allen is to see God’s righteous cause come about throughout the earth. They will soon go from country to country ministering to give all men a better life. Everyone is indeed deserving of such a life. Every time these young psalmists perform, miracles happen in the peoples lives, they are flooded with healing and their lives change for the better.

The band has released four albums “I have a dream” in 2007, and “Stop & Listen" in 2008, and "It is rising" in 2009. This year they launched their forth studio album "Hear no Evil. See no evil. Speak no evil." They have grown prophetically and musically. In 2008 they also released their first DVD and it is also for sale.

The Southern Gypsey Queen (Gareth Wilson – guitar&vocals; Paul Wilson – drums&vocals; Tammy Wilson – bass guitar&vocals), one of South Africa’s top rock and blues band, take time off their busy schedules, and are joined by The Descendants Band to form Heritage. With a combination of amazing song writing, mean guitar riffs, top drumming, beautiful vocals and a powerful anointing, Heritage are on a par with the world's top worship bands.

They have been an inspiration to us all and have increased our musical excellence incredibly. They only play on certain occasions, but when they take the stage, they change lives. Heritage have also made themselves available to tour with Allen whenever possible.
